Carla Marcoux is an aspiring clinician pursuing a master’s degree in counseling psychology at Yorkville University. Her areas of expertise include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy (PCT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), and mindfulness-based practices, which she integrates to best support her clients’ therapeutic goals.
Carla is currently a counsellor with the Chilliwack School District, where she specializes in working with children and youth who are needing support. Carla’s therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered practices, focusing on guiding clients through life’s trials and tribulations. Her work emphasizes enhancing self-love, building confidence in setting boundaries, resolving conflicts, and integrating new, healthy skills in life.
Carla believes that a multifaceted approach to therapeutic interventions can complement and enhance traditional methods. She will work in collaboration to tailor therapy to meet the unique needs of each client. Carla is dedicated to creating a safe and empathetic space where clients can share their stories openly.
Carla is accepting new clients who are interested in building a genuine and authentic counselor-client relationship. She looks forward to supporting you on your journey of self-reflection and growth. Carla offers services in both English and French, available in person or online.
