Soman is working towards becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor and completing her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care from the University of the Fraser Valley.
Soman specializes in utilizing interventions and techniques from evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT). She is passionate about helping adolescents and young adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation.
With a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach, Soman creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported, heard, and empowered. She values a collaborative therapeutic relationship, working alongside clients to help them build resilience, achieve their goals, and thrive.
Fluent in both English and Punjabi, Soman is committed to making her services accessible and inclusive for diverse individuals and families. Soman looks forward to supporting clients in their journey toward healing and growth.
**Soman is accepting new clients at our Surrey Office. She offers in person sessions on Fridays only and virtual sessions weekday evenings**.
