Cindy is a student therapist currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling Psychology.

Cindy is passionate about supporting clients as they navigate identity, relationships, life transitions, and the pressures that can come with growing into themselves. She has experience working in the areas of grief and loss and recognizes how deeply past and present experiences shape how individuals move through the world.

Her experience as a first-generation Canadian informs her understanding of identity, culture, and belonging, and she values creating space for those navigating similar experiences. She is also fluent in Spanish and welcomes clients who feel most comfortable expressing themselves in their first language. In addition, she offers faith-based counselling for those who wish to incorporate their Christian beliefs into the therapeutic process.

Cindy believes therapy is a space where a person’s full story matters. She cares deeply about understanding not just what someone is going through, but how their experiences have shaped who they are. Her approach is warm, curious, and collaborative, offering both space to be heard and gentle guidance as clients begin to make sense of their experiences.

Cindy is accepting new clients for low cost sessions in Abbotsford and virtually across BC.
