Raman is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a passion for supporting individuals in healing unresolved challenges. He provides clients with the tools they need to lead healthier, more meaningful lives. Drawing from a culturally rich background, Raman uses a client-centered approach that honors diversity and allows him to work effectively with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

His personalized style enables him to tailor his approach to each client’s unique needs, meeting them where they are and supporting whatever is present in their journey. Raman integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities and has experience working with clients navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and stress management. Raman is also experienced in couples counseling, play therapy, and has extensive experience with intimate partner violence.

Raman is committed to creating a safe, empathetic, and compassionate space where individuals and families feel supported and empowered to reach their personal goals and foster deeper connections—with themselves and others. He works from a holistic perspective, incorporating somatic-based approaches that help clients access their inner strengths and intuition to live more fully.

One of Raman’s core focuses is to collaborate with clients in cultivating greater awareness and insight into the root causes of their challenges through family of origin and family systems perspectives. He also brings valuable insight to families navigating cross-cultural dynamics, supporting them with relational, behavioral, and emotional concerns. Guided by a holistic philosophy, Raman encourages clients to develop awareness of their whole selves—body, mind, and spirit. Through mindfulness, skill-building, reflection, and warm, consistent support, he helps clients make sense of their experiences and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Raman provides in person counselling at the Surrey office and is fluent in Punjabi.
