Kimran is a Counselling Intern at Hundal Counselling Centre, currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Organizational Studies.
Kimran provides affordable, low-cost counselling for individuals seeking compassionate and accessible mental health support. She works with clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, stress, low mood, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and personal growth.
Her counselling approach is integrative, client-centred, trauma-informed, and strength-based. Kimran draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, humanistic therapy, and person-centred approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change.
Kimran understands that each person’s experiences are influenced by their relationships, culture, values, identity, and life circumstances. She is committed to providing culturally responsive counselling and creating a welcoming environment where clients from diverse backgrounds feel respected, heard, and understood.
At the heart of Kimran’s approach is the belief that counselling should be collaborative and tailored to each individual. She strives to create a safe, caring, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore challenges at their own pace, recognize their strengths, and feel empowered in their healing and personal growth.
Kimran is accepting new clients virtually across BC and in person in Abbotsford.
