Jas is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers and a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She has obtained her Masters in Social Work and Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Victoria. From the Justice Institute of BC Jas has obtained her Certificate in Advanced Facilitation & Consultation. Jas specializes in training in the areas of Anti-Racism, Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership, Change Management, and Conflict Resolution.

Since 2006, Jas has been working with individuals who have struggled with trauma, complex life transitions, addictions, relationship issues, and mental health concerns. Jas utilizes an anti-oppressive framework with an emphasis on intersectionality and existentialism. For 15 years, Jas has facilitated psycho-educational programs in the areas of intimate partner violence, substance use, responsible driving and violence prevention.

Jas provides counselling in Punjabi and Hindi.

Dan believes in a holistic approach to health where all parts of our lives including the social, emotional, physical, spiritual, mental, and relational are interconnected. Dan honors everyone’s story as unique and deserving of the utmost respect, attention, and creativity to find the best path to healing, growth, and lasting change.

Dan’s professional journey in social service work spans 13 years in diverse communities with adults, order adults, children and youth, Indigenous Peoples, newcomers to Canada, athletes, international students, and individuals involved in the justice system. Dan has been privileged to facilitate psycho-educational groups for the past six years in the domains of intimate partner relationships, self-identity, healthy communication, and emotions management. These stories and experiences have expanded Dans understanding and approaches to the numerous challenges affecting clients today.

Dan is devoted to continuous growth and development to better serve my clients and their families. Dan holds a Community Mental Health Certificate from Camosun College, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria, and is currently completing a Master of Education at Thompson Rivers University. As a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW registration #14354) and a member of both the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports (ASWIS) and British Columbia Association of Social Workers (BCASW), Dan is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in his practice.

Jasmeen is a Registered Social Worker working towards becoming a clinical counselor. Her journey as a social worker has provided her invaluable experiences and insights into the various challenges individuals face when navigating life. She has supported individuals from all walks of life who have struggled with mental health, substance use disorders, crisis, trauma, and grief and loss.

Jasmeen utilizes warmth and curiosity while bringing her authentic self to the therapeutic relationship. She recognizes that each individual’s experiences, perceptions, and world views are unique, creating a nurturing and safe environment where each individual feels heard, valued, and empowered.

As a student counselor, her goal is to walk alongside you on this journey.

Avneet graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2020 with a Bachelors in Criminology. She is working towards completing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Her background in youth work has inspired her to continue her education in the mental health field, where she thrives in understanding and supporting individuals.

Avneet’s areas of interest include Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and supporting individuals through a culturally sensitive approach that makes clients feel valued, respected, and empowered. She aims to combine therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of each unique client.

Avneet enjoys hiking, travelling, and spending time with loved ones.

Rhea Kallar, is an aspiring counsellor who is currently completing a Master’s degree inCounselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), and Mindfulness Therapy to offer you an approach that best fits your individual needs and personal goals.

Rhea works from an emotion-focused, holistic approach to work collaboratively with you to enhance self-awareness, self-love and personal boundaries that support your growth through your therapeutic journey. She strives to create a safe and supportive space that is free of judgement and fosters warmth and care for you to explore your thoughts and feelings and overcome your challenges and personal struggles.

Sabrina is an aspiring therapist, with a BSc focused on life sciences, chemistry and environmental and earth sciences from the University of British Columbia. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville University, specializing on using interventions and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness.

Sabrina’s goal is to create a safe, inclusive environment where you can begin your mental health journey and address the challenges you’re facing. She strives to integrate both trauma-informed care with cultural sensitivity to ensure a supportive space for your growth.

Drawing from her extensive experience in healthcare volunteering and professional roles, Sabrina aims to foster warmth, inclusivity and utmost respect. Sabrina is committed to providing a judgment-free zone where you can discover your inner voice and take control of your well-being.
